In 3ds Max, aligning objects is a breeze with the Align tool. Here’s a quick guide:
Select the Source Object: This is the object you want to move.
Activate the Align Tool: You can find it on the main toolbar or access it via Tools > Align > Align.
Choose the Target Object: Click on the object you want to align to.
Adjust Alignment Settings: In the Align dialog box, you can specify alignment options for position (X, Y, Z axes) and orientation. You can align by minimum, center, pivot point, or maximum.
Quick Align: For a faster method, hold the Shift key and click on the target object.
You can also explore other alignment tools like Normal Align and Select and Place for more advanced positioning.
(After selecting the source, choose Tools menu Align or click the Align button on the Main toolbar, and then select the target object.)
