Text in Blender 5.0 – How to add and edit text in Blender 3d
This video tutorial shows how to add and edit text in Blender 3D software. I hope it will be useful.
Adding text in Blender is straightforward. Here are the steps:
Open Blender:
Start a new project or open an existing one.
Switch to Object Mode:
Ensure you are in Object Mode. You can switch modes using the dropdown in the top-left corner of the 3D Viewport.
Add Text Object:
Press Shift + A to bring up the Add menu.
Select Text from the Mesh submenu.
Edit Text:
With the text object selected, switch to Edit Mode by pressing Tab.
You can now delete the default “Text” and type your desired text.
Adjust Text Properties:
Switch back to Object Mode (Tab).
In the Properties panel (on the right), go to the Object Data Properties (the icon looks like an “A”).
Here you can change the font, size, alignment, and other settings.
Transform the Text:
Use the Move (G), Rotate (R), and Scale (S) tools to position and size your text as needed.
