Blender Hdri lighting without background
To use HDRI lighting in Blender without including the HDRI background in your render, you can follow these steps:
Set Up Your Scene:
Open Blender and create your scene.
Select the object you want to light.
Add an HDRI Image:
Go to the World Properties tab (the globe icon).
In the Color section, click on the dot next to it and select Environment Texture.
Click Open and choose your HDRI image file.
Disable the Background:
In the same World Properties tab, scroll down to the Ray Visibility section.
Uncheck the Camera option under Ray Visibility to prevent the HDRI background from rendering.
Adjust Lighting:
Adjust the strength of the HDRI lighting in the World Properties panel to achieve the desired effect.
Render Settings:
Make sure you are using the appropriate render engine (like Cycles) that supports HDRI lighting.
Render Your Scene:
Press F12 to render your scene. You should see your object lit by the HDRI, but without the background.
By following these steps, you can effectively use HDRI lighting in Blender while maintaining a clean background in your renders.
