HOW TO INSTALL ADD-ONS IN BLENDER 4.4

Blender 4.4 has introduced a new Extensions system that makes installing add-ons easier than before. Here’s how you can do it:

Using the “Get Extensions” Menu:

Open Blender and go to Edit – Preferences. Navigate to the Extensions section. Use the Search bar to find the add-on you need. Click Install to add it directly from Blender’s repository.

Installing from a ZIP File:

Download the add-on’s .zip file from a trusted source. In Blender, go to Edit – Preferences – Extensions. Click Install from Disk and select the .zip file. Once installed, enable the add-on from the list.

Manual Installation:

Extract the .zip file and locate the add-on folder. Move it to Blender’s addons directory. Restart Blender and activate the add-on in Preferences.
